November 2, 2009: Feast of All Saints

ron7

November is the month to remember and celebrate those saints and sinners who have died and gone to Heaven. It also gives us an opportunity to reflect on Heaven and strive for Heaven. The Book of Revelation (The Apocalypse) is one of my favorite books of the Bible. It is the last book of the Bible attributed to Saint John the Evangelist, the Beloved disciple who rested his breast on Jesus’ breast on the night before the crucifixion.

Whenever I teach the Book of Revelation, I usually have the students draw the vision as they see it through the words and poems of St. John. The visuals help us all to understand the Sacred Scriptures better and with more insight. I believe we are all called to be stewards of our vision and glimpses of heaven. God loves us so much, that God desires to give us everything, including God’s beloved son, Heaven and “vision”.

W. Keith Moore is writing the music for my book and movie, TEAR IN THE DESERT. He is an incredible and talented musician and writer of song. Keith recently wrote and performed the songs that were used for the television series that is coming out soon of my reading excerpts from my book. Check out his two albums entitled BELOVED and SOUL. Keith’s insight and vision of heaven are phenomenal. His music moves me deeply.

His website is fun: www.wkeithmoore.com.

My favorite songs are Be Not Afraid on the BELOVED and Is it Me? on the SOUL.

You can hear them on his page. He has also appeared on EWTN.

I will have some copies of his albums at the book signing on November 10th from 4pm to 6 pm at the Cork and Keg. We will be celebrating the Marine Corps Birthday and Veteran’s Day. Cork and Keg is at 108 Bartram Oaks Walk, Suite 105, St. Johns Florida.

Have a wonderful month and let us be truly grateful for all that God has lavished us with. We are God’s beloved children.

Love, joy, peace,

Father Ron Moses +
