July 25, 2011:There is ONE Creator and ONE Destroyer

~by Susi Pittman

God always existed. He never had a beginning, He always was.

Exodus 3:13, “I am who am.”

He creates ALL things out of perfect Love. He blessed what He created as being “very good.”

Genesis 1:30-31, “And so it was. God saw that all he had made was very good.”

In this universe, there was one created creature who chose not to love God or anything that God created. It is a mystery why this creature chose to stand away from The Creator. But, we know that he did so, thus proclaiming war against all good and becoming the destroyer of good.

Isaiah 54: 13, “it is I also who have created the destroyer to work havoc.”

GOD, The Creator and Satan, the destroyer…universal dichotomy, eternally opposed.

So why is it, that so many faithful believe that what The Creator/God created as “good” is destined to perish into nothingness, just as Satan the destroyer is destined to be locked into eternal damnation, apart from God forever.

I have an announcement for you….the Catholic Church has always taught that divine providence conserves and unites all of the created “good” with the Creator. We are to walk in the “faith” of knowing that this is true.

Jesus is the one through whom all of creation has come into existence. It is through Jesus that all of creation will be justified. In Hebrews 1: 2-3, it states that Jesus, Son of God, appointed heir of all thing, by whom also he made the world, upholds all of creation by his power…upholding all things by the word of his power. This can be followed with Romans 11:36, For from him and through him and unto him are all things. To him be the glory forever, amen. And we finish with Colossians 1:17, and he is before all creatures, and in him all things hold together.

Man is the only creature given the “image of God,” being given intellect and free will, by which to love God BACK! Man chooses to either join God in eternal good, or join Satan in eternal evil.

The whole of creation beyond man has been given its “particular good,” dignity and stability to praise God and reflect His love. God has given His divine providence to it both here and hereafter.

For this truth we can reference Ecclesiastes 3: 14-15, I recognized that whatever God does will endure forever; there is no adding to it, or taking from it…and God restores what would otherwise be displaced. The footnote to this scripture states: God restores—the meaning is probably that God allows no part of the creation to drop out of existence.

God redeems all of creation.

Revelation 21: 5, Behold, I make all things new!

In very powerful ways, saints and doctors of the Church like St. Thomas Aquinas, John Scotus, Bonaventure and Reginald Garrigou-LaGrange have confirmed this.

If you believe in what God has given to us in sacred scripture, then you are commissioned in stewardship to carry out God’s love for what He created by your actions.

There is only ONE Creator who welcomes home ALL THINGS at the appointed time. Heaven will be a beautiful place with a glorified natural beyond our wildest expectations.

There is only ONE Destroyer, and he claims the souls of those who choose not to love God the Creator.
