April 19, 2017: That God may be all in all

~by Susi Pittman

And when all things are made subject to him, then the Son himself will also be made subject to him who subjected all things to him, that God may be all in all. ~1 Corinthians 15:28

To truly understand the title of this column is to understand that all that God has created, be it in the past, in the present or to come in the future, ALL of it is present to the Creator at this very moment.

God, Yahweh, Abba, Father, exists in the present moment and is present to all that He has created now. He lives outside of time and is eternally cognizant of the dynamics of everything in the created universe.

I have heard some people remark that God is only concerned about His human creation…and others say that God cares about all of his creatures.

The truth of the matter is, because God IS Love, and Love created all things, every single person and thing was first loved and wanted by God.

Whether it is the first nano-second of the first atom that brought this universe into being, or the moment of conception of a child in the womb this very minute, it is present to God.

As you look about your environment and notice everything that exists in the natural world, you can be comforted to know that God sees it too.

If a person is killed and their earthly remains are never claimed, it is of no matter. God has seen the soul over into His presence. If an animal is killed and eaten, the particular good, the life-spirit of that creature is known to God immediately.

Nothing is lost to God. He is God…he knows all, sees all and by His divine providence directs all to the perfect end He has prepared for it from the beginning of time.

God has specifically promised every human soul who reaches heaven a glorified body. And to creation, his divine providence promises through the redemption of His Son Jesus, an eternal continuance. All things enter into this world through Christ…all things will leave this world through Christ!

All things in their perfected state will be accounted for by the Master Accountant, and will be redeemed to the glory promised by the begotten Son of said Master Accountant.

We need not worry about losing anything in this world, outside of our very souls, as God has accounted for all His Creation and will bring it to its glorified existence with Him in eternity.

Go forth and be present to your God and make it your mission to acknowledge walking on sacred ground every day.
