May 2, 2011: IT IS DONE!

~ by Mary Galvano

It is funny how the world continues its search for new ways to prolong life. You see the ads in papers and magazines; take this and you will live a long and healthy life. Scientists are using every technology possible for cure alls and ways for people to live forever. And although, it is important for us to protect and value life in all forms, living forever has already been accomplished. Eternal life has already been done, but at a price.

Through the sufferings and death of Jesus we are healed of our transgressions and our sins are wiped away. The mighty God has given His only Son as a sacrifice to make all things new. He shall wipe away all tears from our eyes and death shall be no more…And it is done!

Life is continually being reborn and without the passing on of creation there would be no room for new life. Jesus gave us new life through His own life. If we want to live forever we must follow Jesus and live as He did.

Mass is the best place to start. He gave His life as a new covenant that we now celebrate called Mass, so that we may eat the sacrificial Lamb of God and be renewed. Don’t miss the opportunity to participate in this miracle each week.

The Eucharist is The cure all. It is the greatest miracle we have to truly live forever. Jesus suffered and died, but He did rise. No one on Earth has, or ever will, do better than that. God in the Second Person took human form, so as to unite all of humanity with Himself. We must choose to love and serve Our Savior as brothers and sisters in Christ!

Behold, the Lamb of God has risen and is seated at the right hand of the power of God! Hallelujah!
