April 17, 2013: Greet the Day With a Steward’s Heart

~ by Sr. Marie Rene, S.S.J.

Each morning Lord,
You bless us with Your kindness.
As I walk out of our front door on my way to Mass,
I feel Your presence so delightfully.
I am greeted by the beauty of swaying trees in all shades of green.
I feel immersed in the beauty of the grass, the flowers, the blue sky, the singing of all the birds.
I enjoy the presence of the squirrels racing about, the people passing by,
And the sound of the street trolley cars with excited people.
The Spirit of God sways all in the dance of heaven.
God is present in all, giving us such beauty on our journey to our true home.
“Lord, You bless us with Your kindness. Thank you Lord, through Holy Mary Your Mother.”
