From Betty B.:
I have an 11¼ year old Doberman who was diagnosed Tuesday with Lymphoma of the spleen, one of the first growing cancers. Her vet started her on Predinsone and last night I found lumps on both sides of her neck. He told me it could be the salvia glands or the lymph nodes which would not be a good sign showing the cancer is spreading faster than we thought it would . Diva hasn’t been on the Pred long enough ( 3 -5 days ) for it to kick in but was told to closely watch the swelling, if it got worse to bring her in. If she can past the three month mark she might go into remission and live for a year or longer as other dogs have done. I have been offering up prayers to Saints I know plus really praying to Fr. Seelos who has helped people with their cancers going into remission for years. Any prayers that could be offered up for her will be deeply appreciated. Diva is the fifth Doberman I have had and yes, she is a Diva when she walks into a room and gets all the attention paid to her. She is my constant companion and goes every where I go but I will not give up on her because she always worries about me and takes care of me. Thanks again for your prayers for my girl!
